This new image is titled “Another Life Analogy”, and is one of my newest digital paintings, which is a new direction I’m taking on my artist journey.
I decided to make a calendar of some of my images last night, and with the help of lulu.com, it is already a “thing”! If you are interested in purchasing one, you can click here and get yours. At the purchasing page, you can get a preview of all the images that I included in the calendar.
I love technology!!! Thanks for your support!
I recently vacationed to Oceanside, California. Before leaving from my hometown, I made the intention to “unplug” as much as possible, only checking my email and Facebook once in a while. Little did I know that my destination would conspire to make sure that happened. Upon arriving, I found that my device obtained very little 3G and the wi-fi in our rental was very poor. Honestly, I found myself stressing a little. I mean, it’s one thing to put the phone down with the knowing you can check in on emails if you want, but it’s another when the connection just isn’t there and you can’t. [Read more…]
I really don’t travel much, but would like to more often. When I do get the opportunity to see new places or experience new adventures, I’m reminde
d of how small I am in comparison to the wonderful place called earth. I recently had a quick trip to the tiny community of Wolf Creek, Montana… you’d seriously miss it if you blinked going by on the interstate.
The drive was mostly flat up until about 30 minutes from Wolf Creek, and then it seemed that the mountains rose up all around us. Cliffs, trails, rivers and creeks, tunnels, old railroad tracks, deer, big horn sheep…the beauty of nature and the evidence of the efforts of humans to co-exist in this beautiful place.

The house is starting to fall in on itself, the garages and barns are not much better. It’s hard to watch the progression of decay, but there is nothing that can be done to reverse it.
I have, however, begun to create stuff with what I find there. There’s quite an abundance of old weathered wood, and it seems that every time I go there, I find something new to take home. To some it might look like trash, but to me it’s more like treasure. [Read more…]
I have been through over a year of extreme transformation. I certainly am not the same person, vibrationally and physically, that I was when I started. It seems that only those who go through the same journey understand what the transformation means. I am definitely grateful that I attracted this journey into my life.
I made some fresh Almond Milk this morning. It’s really easy, basically just soaking some raw almonds for about 24 hours, draining, rinsing and blending with fresh water, then squeezing the liquid through cheesecloth to separate from the decimated almonds. Wolla! Almond Milk!
I also add in some vanilla, which I created from some good vodka and fresh vanilla beans…love it too!
