This new image is titled “Another Life Analogy”, and is one of my newest digital paintings, which is a new direction I’m taking on my artist journey.
I decided to make a calendar of some of my images last night, and with the help of lulu.com, it is already a “thing”! If you are interested in purchasing one, you can click here and get yours. At the purchasing page, you can get a preview of all the images that I included in the calendar.
I love technology!!! Thanks for your support!
I recently was one of a select few to be included in a new online art gallery. I’m honored and excited to a part of the Artsy Shark Gallery, and have my images along side some really incredible works from other artists.
I would love for you to look at my work, of course, but I encourage you to see all the other artists work as well. It’s really inspiring to see what unique visions other artists have.
The two owners of the gallery have spent an incredible amount of time getting this gallery together, and it is so easy to navigate through. You can even see what a particular art piece might look like in various types of rooms or environments. Very cool!
Definitely worth a few minutes of your time!
I was recently accepted as an Arcangel contributor, and I’m so excited! I think I found my niche! I’ve been an iStockPhoto contributor for a while, but a good portion of the images residing there are more business based and I had a good portion of my work rejected there. Arcangel is suited towards book covers and the like, and I think I will be great fit there. Here’s their web site, you can see for yourself the type of work they do… www.arcangel.com.
My Photoshop abilities will be used from general retouching and color tweaks to major surreal composites. The fun part for me is now thinking of new ideas in a way I haven’t done before. In addition to that, I will be doing more photography and hiring models to help me create these images. I’ve let photography take a back seat lately, but now I will be focusing equally on photography and Photoshop.
I’m really looking forward to the day that I see one of my images on a book cover! I think that will be one of the most gratifying moments of my imaging career.
Not much else to say on my Arcangel experience yet, but I’m sure I will have more later. Right now I’m just focusing on new images and getting my feet wet.
